The Chevy Silverado is available with three engine options under the hood. The Chevy Colorado features one engine option with a high output upgrade. The Chevy Silverado allows Hornell drivers to choose between-

• Turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine producing 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque
• 5.3 liter V8 engine 355 horsepower 383 pound-feet of torque.
• 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque
• Turbocharged three-liter six-cylinder diesel engine making 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque

With a maximum towing capacity of 9,500 pounds with proper equipment, the Chevy Silverado is ready to go to work. On the other hand, the Chevy Colorado only has a 6,000-pound towing capacity. This is thanks to a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque or 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque in a high-output version. If you are performing daily duties in the Avon area, the Chevy Colorado might be a more practical option. But if you are looking for serious performance, the Chevy Silverado has the variety that you need.

Interior and technology

Main cabin amenities are amp in both the Chevy Silverado and the Chevy Colorado. The base model of the Chevy Silverado comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that connects to a seven-inch touchscreen. However, the Chevy Colorado is more luxurious and also offers wireless connectivity for your smartphone, but connecting to an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display.

Upper trim levels of the Chevy Silverado, like the LTZ, come with ventilated front seats, full leather upholstery, Bose premium audio system, and wireless smartphone charging capability. These features can be attained with the Chevy Colorado, but drivers will need to purchase additional packages to gain access.
